Newton Colmore Consulting are partnered with a fluidics instrumentation innovator in Cambridge and we are helping them find a Senior Test Engineer to join their product test team.

As a Senior Test Engineer within this organisation, you will be utilising your experience to determine the performance and reliability of brand-new physical products. This is a highly important role within the company and your work will be key to deciding when new products are ready for launch.

You will be charged with designing and running experiments to gather performance data on new and existing products and subsequently analyse the data to determine the actual performance of products and whether target performance has been achieved. The company have a diverse product range and your work could range from working on complex instruments for the oil and energy markets through to large scale pharmaceutical equipment and machines.

To be considered for this role, we are ideally looking for a candidate who has the following;

  • Hands-on experience with testing complex scientific instrumentation.
  • Strong data analysis skills and sensor performance testing experience.
  • Ideally STEM-degree educated but the company are open-minded.
