Position title
Two-year Post-Doc Chemistry Researcher – Fluorescent Tags and Fluorescence Imaging

A growing technology organisation are currently looking for a new Post-Doc Chemistry Researcher for a funded role for at least the next two-years.  Based in Cambridge, you will be working on novel and challenging Fluorescent Tags and Fluorescence Imaging technologies.

You will be providing a scientific approach, specifically from a Chemistry point of view, for the development of Fluorescent Tags and Fluorescence Imaging technologies.  In this role you will be working alongside engineers, physicists and other technology experts who can help with this development.

It is expected that you will have a Chemistry background from either academia or from within industry.  Specifically, within Fluorescent Tags and Fluorescence Imaging chemistry that has been used for novel nanoparticles technologies.

It is expected that you would hold a Chemistry degree or Chemistry PhD from a leading university.

This company will provide you with exceptional laboratories and resources to be successful in this role.  Although the funding is only signed off for two-years, it may be possible to extend this at the end of the Post-Doc, depending upon success.  Even if the role does not get extended, it would be good industry experience that will help with future roles as a lot of companies specifically look for industry experience over academic experience.

Apart from this, you will be rewarded with an excellent starting salary and benefits package.

I’m expecting a lot of interest in this role, so if you are interested, I’d suggest making an application now or risk missing out.
