Newton Colmore Consulting are working with an exciting medical devices company in Cambridge, and we are helping them find software engineers to join their growing team.
As a Software Engineer you will be utilising your expertise and passion for software to program and code on a variety of different projects around technology and instruments that aim to improve clinical diagnostics capabilities. This will involve working at the intersection of engineering and biology on technologies such as microfluidics and machine vision.
Working on state-of-the-art instrumentation, you will be developing theoretical and experimental models and advanced simulations, prototyping, and testing your work for the full life cycle of the device.
To be considered for this role you will need to have experience with developing code in C++/C#, preferably with some understanding of embedded and mobile programming. This will be coupled with a strong passion for engineering and problem solving. Medical devices experience is advantageous, but we are considering engineers who have gained their experience in other industries.
