On our client’s behalf we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Medicinal Chemist to join a renowned drug discovery team. As a key member of their research group, you will play a vital role in designing and synthesizing small molecule compounds for hit identification, lead optimization, and drug development projects. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, apply your expertise in medicinal chemistry, and contribute to the advancement of the company’s therapeutic programs.
Your responsibilities will include the synthesis of novel small molecule compounds, planning and executing the purification and characterisation of target compounds and analysing and interpreting structure-activity relationships to guide compound optimisation.
To be considered for this role you will need to have industry experience with a drug discovery team, utilising your medicinal chemistry PhD. You will need to have knowledge of modern synthetic organic chemistry techniques and purification methods and ideally a good understanding of ADME
