A medical devices company based in Cambridgeshire are looking for a Senior/Lead Manufacturing Engineer to join their team.

This company are leading innovation within their field. You will be working on novel medical devices and you will be taking lead on manufacturing-focused projects, including process improvement, process scale up, or transferring manufacture of a product to a new CMO.

You will be supporting design for manufacture as products are developed, including modelling product cost, identifying potential suppliers, supporting supplier audits and supply chain discussions, throughout the entirety of the design process.

You will be working closely with fellow engineers to develop a validation master plan and ensure current processes meet the requirements for validation readiness.

The procurement of prototypes for testing and specification and validation of jigs and fixtures will also be a key element to this role.

To be consider for this Senior/Lead Manufacturing Engineer role you will need to have manufacturing/process development experience within the medical devices sector. This will ideally be coupled with knowledge of process, equipment, or software validation as well as quality management and GMP expertise.
