Senior Cyber Security Engineer

Newton Colmore is partnered with a leading cyber security company in Cambridge, and we are helping them find expert cyber security engineers for their research and innovation team.

As a Cyber Security Engineer within this well-respected organisation, you will be utilising your electronics and software development experience on highly complex projects that are crucial to national security.

You will be developing innovative approaches and solutions that consider not only the robustness of software but also the associated hardware, technological infrastructure, and user interaction. Primarily you will be charged with finding vulnerabilities in critical systems, software, and hardware. This could vary from novel sensors through to satellites for communications.

This company is experiencing rapid growth, have state-of-the-art labs and workspaces and work on the most challenging technological problems. It could be a great time for you to join them.

To be considered for this exciting role you will need to have experience with hardware, software, and sensors, and how they function in real world scenarios. This will be coupled with strong academics and a passion for cyber security and an engineering curiosity. Adaptability and coachability are two traits that are vitally important to this company.

You will need to be able to attain security clearance for this role.
