Newton Colmore is working with a growing technology company in Cambridge, and we are helping them search for a project manager to lead research and development projects.

This role will give the project manager an opportunity to lead a team of scientists and engineers on highly complex device programmes. The majority of your work will be within the medical devices, diagnostics and lab instrumentation spaces, taking ideas from initial concept all the way through to market launch and manufacturing. The company have a track record of delivering step changes with their products and are now looking to strengthen their team as the move onto the next stage of their company growth.

As well as managing projects, and a team, you will also be manging internal and external stakeholders to ensure projects are on time and within budget.

To be considered for this exciting role you will need to have experience with managing medical devices or life sciences projects, coupled with a background in research and development. This experience will ideally stem from a scientific or engineering education and any additional knowledge of design lifecycles, managing multiple projects at once, and regulatory standards would be beneficial to your application.
