Description

An innovative technology developer based in Cambridge are looking to expand their R&D team by bringing on an experienced engineer as a Programme Manager to lead a variety of complex projects.

This exciting new role will give the Programme Manager an excellent opportunity to work on cutting edge products at the forefront of innovation within the technology sector. You will take responsibility for project management of the company’s sensor-based products which will include both hands on development and resource management.

Because of the nature of this company, you will always have new projects on the horizon and be continually developed as an engineer/manager. In terms of project-work, you will be taking lead on projects that aim to deliver step-changes in the industrial and energy sectors. This could be complex sensors that capture data in harsh environments or large-scale warehouse automation technologies and everything in between.

We are looking for people who love solving complex engineering problems and that can lead from the front whilst maintaining a hands-on approach.

To be considered for this exciting role you will need to have a degree in an engineering or scientific related subjects. You will also have a thorough understanding of design novel solutions for complex engineering problems. Any hands-on development with sensor technology would be highly advantageous. This can range from high-volume low cost sensors for manufacturing purposes to infra-red sensors for harsh environments and everything in between.
