An established Medical Devices company, based in South Birmingham, are currently looking for an experienced Product Development Manager to lead a team in the development of new technologies and the redevelopment of existing Medical Devices.

The company has some really exciting plans and needs someone in this role to offer career development and guidance to the current team while taking responsibility for bringing in new members of staff as the company grows.

You will need to have come from a product development background as you will still be working on development yourself, while helping your team with their design work also.

Your experience will need to have come from a Biomechanical, Biomaterial, Orthopaedics or Medical Implants background from industry.

Ideally you will be used to working in a SME type organisation and focused on growing a team or company. There will not be as much red tape as you’d get at larger companies, meaning your focus can be on the product development.

For the first six-month, you will need to be in the offices in South Birmingham. But once you have established processes and development plans (both product and team development plans) you will be able to work in more of a hybrid model.
