We are looking for an experienced Optical Design Engineer who can work on the R&D of brand-new eye care Medical Devices. You will be based in South Cambridge working within a team of Medical Devices experts.

You will be applying your Optical Design skills to the development of technologies used for the scanning and treatment of eye related medical conditions.

Due to working with different divisions and third-party companies, it would be ideal if you have worked with different sized teams and companies, including start-ups, midsized and multinational organisations.

Ideally, you will have worked on Medical Devices previously, however we are open to other highly complex Optical devices. This experience could be within industry or PhD level.

Apart from your practical experience, we will also expect you to hold a degree within a relevant Optics or Physics field that has led you into becoming a Optical Engineer or Optical Design Engineer role.
