We are working with an exciting biotech start-up company in Cambridge and we are looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join their team.
This is the perfect role for a mechanical engineer with a few years’ worth of industry experience, looking to work on ground-breaking technology that aims to improve lives.
As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be utilising your mechanical design engineering knowledge, problem-solving and your 3D modelling skills to create novel solutions for real-world engineering problems. The technology you will be working on will include optical, fluidic and thermal mechanical systems and is aiming to make a step-change in innovation for the sector.
Your specific responsibilities will be to identify product requirements, create and define technical solutions for the product and the generation of concepts and systems. You will then also be charged with transferring designs through to manufacture and competing technical analyses to ensure the product is safe, reliable and scalable.
To be considered for this exciting role you will need to have experience of designing complex mechanical systems within a highly regulated sector, coupled with an impressive academic record. SolidWorks and Creo knowledge would be ideal as would experience with transferring designs to manufacture.
