Position title
Experienced DevOps Software Engineer
Description

A technology research and development company are currently looking for a couple of DevOps Software Engineers, based in Cambridge, to help with the establishment of their DevOps systems development life-cycles for a range of complex technologies.

This organisation is helping with a number of different technology launches, many of which is closely linked to Cloud computing requirements, so any Cloud platform experience will be ideal, especially AWS as most projects are being focused on AWS to start with.

The type of technologies you will help with are highly complex, this means it is unlikely that you will be able to come up with on systems development life-cycle that could work on many of the technologies, it is more likely that you will be developing them from scratch for each product.  This means you will always be tested, almost daily, but will also develop your own skills to help with your career development.

You will need to have a successful track record as a DevOps Software Engineer and successfully delivered on a few full life-cycle implementations.  Alongside this experience, it is expected that you would hold a degree within a computer software, computer sciences, electronics, physics or another subject that guided you into DevOps in your career.

Something people enjoy about this role is the variety of technologies you will work on.  This means you will never get bored.

Apart from career development and varied projects, you will be rewarded with an excellent salary, benefits package and social environment.  If needed, relocation assistance will be provided.

So, if you have a good background in DevOps and want to continually be challenged, make an application now or risk missing out.
