Electronics Physicist – Medical Devices Development
Description

A growing Medical Devices company are currently looking for a Physicist who can take on responsibility for the electronics side of their Medical Devices development.  You will be working with other Physicists and engineers in the development of a new Medical Diagnostic device that is electromechanical in nature.

Based in Cambridge, easy to find from the city centre, you will using your past electronics and physics knowledge in the continued development of this Medical Device, working on elements such as electrical testing data-analysis using Python, wire bonding and other electronics/electrical physics skills.

If you have ever developed Microfluidic systems in the past this would be useful, either in Medical Devices or another field.  It is expected that you would hold a PhD within a Physics, Electronics, BioPhysics or another relevant field.

After university you will need to have had a few years experience in industry or in a commercially focused Post-Doc.
