NC is working with a growing industrial engineering company in Cambridge, and we are searching for a data scientist to join their team.

This role is perfect for a data scientist who wants to be involved with novel technologies, utilising molecular biology across different sectors.

You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and evaluating algorithms that play a key part in the development of novel products. You will be part of a multi-disciplinary team often working on products that are at the intersection of science and engineering.

You will be using your experience to work with peers and understand the challenges and problems that your work is aiming to solve. You will play a key role and your data will be used to make meaningful conclusions for product development.

To thrive in this role, you will need to have an understanding of microbiological data and analytics coupled with strong academics in mathematics and data science. Any additional experience with bioinformatics and omics would be beneficial for your application. Because you will be working on products that straddle sectors, we are open on experience.
