A leading Medical Devices company, based in Cambridge, are currently looking for a senior Programme Manager to help deliver highly technical medical devices projects.

To be successful in this role, it is expected that you would have successfully delivered on a number of complex medical devices.  When we say complex, we are talking about electro-mechanical, diagnostics, robotics and other complex fields within ISO 13485 or EN 60601 standards.

This company has a successful track record of inventing and delivering medical devices that have continually changed the market place.  You will lead teams in the successful development of life changing and life improving medical devices.

Normally, to have moved into a senior Programme Manager or Project Manager role you would have worked within a technical role previously.  Ideally, a background within physics, mechanical engineering, electronics engineer or other technical fields for medical devices development will be needed.

To have a technical background, we would expect that you would hold a technical degree along with specific medical devices industry experience.  If you also hold a PhD this would be advantageous.

Apart from leading the R&D teams, you will also help with the development of more junior team members and be the contact point for internal and external parties.
