Hi LinkedInverse, I’m back with my second post.

Research on the Brexit

I’m sure a lot of us have been hearing about the Brexit vote on the 23rd June.  And I’m sure there are a lot of people out there who are 100% committed to voting yes or voting no, but what about the people we don’t know or the people who are open to the other point of view?  Where can they get the information they need that will help them make an informed vote?

For the last few months I have been reading up as much as I can and attending events that tell you they are going to tell you the ‘facts’ about the debate.  I have been left disappointed every time as every sides ‘facts’ are just countered with more ‘facts’meaning we are left not knowing who (if anyone) is telling the truth.

One event I attended suggested looking at where the facts are coming from, however as with the economy reports that have been released over the last month both sides of the argument seem to have well educated people with a good career track records.

TV Cliff-hanger

So where can we find the facts?  The answer it seems is nowhere.  I have come to the realisation that the Brexit Vote is a lot like a TV cliff-hanger on popular shows likeGame of Thrones and Walking Dead.  Basically what I’m saying is we won’t know what will happen until it happens, this is what I’ve heard quite a few people say who are on the leave campaign.  It does not matter what theories we have about Jon Snow, Rick Grimes or the Brexit, until it happens we won’t know.

So I’m sorry if you read this looking for more information to make your decision but the leave campaign does not seem to be able to give out this information because they don’t know, the stay campaign can as they know what the renegotiated deal with the EU looks like.  I hope over the next month they do, so people can decide on what effects them and what they feel is best for their loved ones.

I hope you found this interesting and I hope people from both the leave and remain campaigns read something like this and take it as a prompt to actually release facts of what the UK will look like after the vote.

Make Sure You Vote

I have written this purposely sitting on the fence, I don’t want to influence your vote as that is your vote and your right to have but please please make sure you use your vote.  If you choose not to use your vote please don’t complain when it does not go your way.
